About Me
Born on December 9, 1974, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Philippa Johnson-Dwyer is a para equestrian athlete and double Paralympic gold medallist. She won two individual gold medals at the 2008 Paralympic Games and two individual silver medals at the 2004 Paralympic Games. Since moving to Belgium in 2002 to pursue her equestrian career, she has competed in over 150 international competitions, including five Paralympic Games and three World Championships, establishing herself as one of South Africa's most decorated equestrian athletes
